Amber |
The spray booth/oven mod. Amber is the smallest unit of all Cometi product range as it has a fixed useful width narrower than the other booths and can be configured in 3 different lengths and heights. This booth comes with a front frame with 2 doors for simple paint jobs but it can also be supplied with 3 doors as regular booths for car body refinishing.
The booth mod. Amber is supplied with a useful width of 3720 mm. The length can be of 5900 mm, 6490 or 7080 mm of useful space. The standard height is 2600 mm but on demand it can also be supplied with a height of 2800 mm or 3000 mm.

| Floor pit with masonry works |
The standard booth is supplied with masonry works basement, with excavation works (at customer’s charge) to be realized according to our drawings, with 15 grates dim. 920 x 1000 x 40 x 3 mm for floor pit dim. 2840 x 5030 mm, including metal dividing bars, under-grate trays with special flaps and paint-stop filter rolls |
| Metal basement |
The metal basement can be supplied as an option, in this case no excavation works are required. The raised metal basement has a height of 300 mm and is covered with 21 grates dim. 920 x 1000 x 40 x 3 mm and side checquered boards on the walking surface at the two sides of the grates. The basement comes with the metal dividing bars, under-grate trays with special flaps and paint-stop filter rolls. To allow the entrance of a car into the booth several options can be chosen: 2 external ramps 2000 x 500 mm, a fixed internal ramp 1730 mm one or a pneumatic one. |
| Front frame |
The frontal frame has a thickness of 80 mm and the shutters of 50 mm. It can be supplied with 2 doors with useful opening dimension of mm 2400 x 2570h, with 3 doors with useful opening dimension of mm 3000 x 2570h, or with 4 shutters with useful opening dimension of mm 3780 x 2570h. The doors are equipped with standard observation windows secured with rubber gaskets. The glasses are anti-breaking and laminated. The personnel service door can be supplied with springs locks or anti-panic crossbar handle. As an option all the front doors can be supplied of “deluxe” type with large observation windows of 2100x700mm and with metal frames matching the same colour of the spray booth trims |

Thickness 55 mm type "sandwich" made with white pre-painted iron sheets with mineral inside, with special interlocking system with no screws and no welding points |
| Filtering ceiling |
Manufactured with white pre-painted iron sheets with 3 rolls of ceiling filters 945 mm wide each one supported by white square horizontal bars. The total filtering surface changes according to the length of the booth itself |

| Lighting system |
10 or 12 light groups (according to the length of the booth) located on top corners oblique mounted at 45°. Each light group is equipped with 2 or 4 fl. tubes 30W controlled by 1 or 2 electronic ballasts and protected by safety laminated glass 6/7 mm and metal frame sealed with gasket. As an option one can choose additional lower light groups equipped with 2 or 4 fl. tubes 30W |
Power unit

The power unit can have air capacities from 18.000 m3/h to 22.000 m3/h and consequently dimensions that go from 1500 x 1500 mm to 1600 x 1600 mm. each power unit is supplied with stainless steel heat exchanger AISI430 with indirect flame exchange with two levels of tube racks, equipped with 1 double intake scirocco belt-driven fan and electric motor with pulleys and belts. It is supplied with stainless steel chimney simple foil Ø 250 mm3 m. straight + T + cap. On the air intake duct is installed a special drawer with pocket pre-filters of easy maintenance. A suitable oil fired Riello burner is supplied with the standard model, but it can be supplied with a gas burner with its gas train on demand.

Exhaust unit

The exhaust units can have air capacities from 20.000 m3/h to 24.000 m3/h and consequently dimensions that go from 1200 x 1200 mm to 1200 x 1600 mm. the exhaust units can have the following different configurations:
Series TV: Exhaust units with no filters (only blowing unit)
Series EM: Exhaust units with paint stop filters and “M” holders
Series ET: Exhaust units with pocket filters dim. 357 x 582 x 440h
Series EC: Exhaust units with sleeve filters dim. 260 x 260 x 1000h
Series EK: Exhaust units with special cartridge made up of sleeve filters dim. 260 x 260 x 1000h + active charcoal in cylinders
Air capacity: from 18.000 m3/h to 24.000 m3/h

Electro-mechanic with cabinet IP55 with digital process controller for full automatic control of working cycles, main switch with key, hour counter, buttons, lamps, fuses etc. On demand, it can be supplied with Magnehelic pressure gauge, with pressure regulator and step-by-step motor during the spraying cycle |

Each spray booth can be equipped with other additional options as personnel side service door, parts hanging bar with rails, angle shelf etc. |
| Colours and trims |
Each Cometi spray booth is made of white pre-painted iron sheets and is refinished with plastic-coated corners. The spray booth can be trimmed in various colour chosen according to the end user taste or to the colour of the body shop where the spray booth will be installed. The available colours are red, yellow, dark blue, light blue, green, grey. The external units and the basement are zinced but, as an option, they can be trimmed in the same colour of the other booth trims. |
